FDI for the first half of 2013 decreases

The direct foreign investments in Bulgaria show decrease of 37% on an annual basis for the first six months of 2013: EUR 711 Million, compared to EUR 1,134 Million in 2013.

Income from foreign tourists for the same period increases by 5,23%. There is also an increase of 12,51% in the amounts Bulgarian tourists spend on their trips abroad.

The National Statistical Institute also announces decrease in both export (0,7%) and import (2,9%).
