2020 Christmas donations go to children and families in need

Every year we have been happy to spread the Christmas feeling to all our clients and partners with special Leinonen gifts. As the year 2020 has been incredibly challenging for many areas, we have decided in Leinonen Estonia to re-invest the money planned for client gifts to support the ones in true need.

Therefore, we have picked 2 following topics for this year´s support:

  1.  MTÜ Koos Laste Heaks (Together for children) – and together with newspaper “Postimees” we will help creating 656 food baskets for low-income families across Estonia. In these families there are approximately 1500 children who are in need for everyday food as the average income for the family is below 300 euro per month. If you also would like to help these families, go to their webpage for further information: http://www.kooslasteheaks.ee/page/11

  1.  Toidupank (Food Bank) – was created in 2010 and has grown into the biggest organization helping people in need all over Estonia. In 2019 Toidupank delivered food on average to 7400 people in a week. This year the numbers have risen and there are about 10 000 people a week that need food to survive. Therefore, we have decided to help Toidupank with our Christmas donation to make sure no one celebrates Christmas with an empty table. Thank you Toidupank for a wonderful work you do all year around. https://www.toidupank.ee/

Also, our wonderful team at Leinonen had a great idea to support East-Tallinn´s hospital (Ida-Tallinna Keskhaigla) with collecting magazines from our employees and giving them to the hospital. We do hope that all people can celebrate the Christmas with their families but unfortunately some of us are forced to stay in the hospital for that period. Therefore, we hope that by reading something positive and inspiring will bring back the health sooner and all the patients will get home as soon as possible.

We would like to thank all our clients and partners for the year of 2020. It was a challenging one but also brought lots of learnings, new directions, and viewpoints.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas!
