Practical Business Guide – How to Penetrate Foreign Markets

The destination markets covered in the course of this training are Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Russia.

The target group of this one day training would be the owners, managers, development and financial managers of the companies aspiring to penetrate the foreign markets as well as of the companies, who despite of already having access and being active in these markets, are willing to review and improve their relevant knowledge.

Additionally, this training session can prove to be beneficial for the lawyers, accountants, human resources, sales and marketing managers as well as the training managers of such companies.

The presentations are held either in Estonian or in English and simultaneous interpretation into Estonian will be available.

  • Payments made in connection with the provision of catering, accommodation,  transportation or cultural services to guests and business partners;

Foundation of a company and hiring of the employees

Local and foreign labour

  • Long-term secondment of a representative of the foreign parent company
  • Employing labour to work in another country
  • Contracts of employment and termination thereof
  • Income tax of a natural person (personal income tax)
  • Pension funds, pensions and insurances

All participants will be issued a Workbook in Estonian and presentation materials as well as a Certificate of Participation.

The workbook highlights major accounting principles and legal provisions, provides instructions for the foundation of a company and lists the contact information of most important administrative agencies for each country.
