Every company handles, uses, processes personal data, even if in different scale. The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union applies to all companies working in the EU or dealing with personal data of EU citizens.
We just would like to highlight three aspects of the implementation we have to focus on.
- Review the current operation regarding personal data and prepare the necessary policies and other documentation to cover all the areas.
- Amend the current business agreements with the required clauses about data protection, and incorporate them in the future contracts.
- Be prepared to properly manage any malfunctioning regarding data protection.
