Important Changes From 1 July

We shortly describe the 3 most important changes in invoicing that come into force on 1 July 2020.

  1. All the invoices issued to customers with Hungrian tax number (B2B) must be immediately reported to the tax authority. The old-school hand-written paper invoices should disappear since these ones must be submitted manually.
  2. Due to the data transmission, the tax number of both vendor and customer must be written on the invoices. Be careful when you request an invoice, name, address and tax number are all required.
  3. The time frame of invoicing was reduced from 15 to 8 days after the transaction is closed.
