In fact, online shopping grew 30 % in 2022 in comparison with the previous year. In addition to shopping goods from abroad online, Kazakh citizens frequently bring them as baggage for personal consumption via car-, rail-, and air transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Til the 1st of April 2023, goods can be brought to Kazakhstan for personal consumption without having to pay any customs- or tax duties up to the limit of an equivalent value of 1000 EUR, or 31 kilograms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the 1st of April 2023, the limits are reduced to 500 EUR and 25 kilograms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above rules apply to arrivals from all states except those in the Eurasian Economic Union, i.e. Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The above rules only apply to goods that are meant for personal consumption. In case goods are meant for entrepreneurial activity, the relevant legal codes and customs standards apply.
