Additional explanation regarding data submission to i.VAZ subsystem

Below is a short description of the main changes:

  • the parcel post, defined in the Lithuanian Postal Law (i.e. postal correspondence, parcel posts with weight under 50 kg or posts, which contain books, magazines and other periodical publications), are not required to have the consignment note according to the Lithuanian Road Transport Code (hereinafter – the Code), therefore, this information is not required to be submitted to i.VAZ subsystem;
  • according to the Code’s provisions, a receipt (i.e. not the consignment note) confirms the transportation of small parcel posts. Therefore, the receipt is not treated as a freight document and its data should not be submitted to i.VAZ.
