We would like to inform that the Ministry of Health has supplemented the list of priority groups to be vaccinated with companies with at least 100 employees, giving priority to those companies operating in areas (according to NACE codes) where COVID-19 outbreaks have been identified.
The Ministry of Health also informs that it recommends to the municipalities to vaccinate, as a matter of priority, those companies or organizations whose activities recorded more cases of COVID-19 and the outbreaks of this disease.
Please be kindly noted that the mentioned information of the Ministry of Health does not mean that all companies with at least 100 employees will be vaccinated as the announced list of vaccination priorities remains.
Please be informed that at the moment there are two possible priorities applicable for the companies – priority 1.20 and new priority – more than 100 employees and COVID-19 outbreaks. Please find information regarding such priorities below.
Priority 1.20
The company meets the priority 1.20 if:
· its employees work in retail companies, performing their functions in contact with customers (cashiers, hall employees, security guards, etc.);
· its employees work in food handling companies, except public catering companies, directly involved in food production.
It is already possible to submit the lists of the mentioned employees to Vilnius city municipality. Please be informed that information regarding employees lists in other municipalities should be followed on the pages of such municipalities. The head of the company is responsible for the correct conclusion of the mentioned lists. Please be kindly noted these lists should not include all employees of the company, but only those who meet priority 1.20.
The new priority – more than 100 employees and COVID-19 outbreaks
We would like to note that this priority only applies to those companies operating in areas (according to NACE codes) where during last or current month COVID-19 outbreaks have been identified. Under this priority, companies (with more than 100 employees) are also invited to provide a list of their employees, who wish to be vaccinated, however, this does not mean that the company’s employees will be included in the vaccination system in the near future.
The Ministry of Health also has noted that workers in the mentioned large companies (more than 100 employees) may be vaccinated if the priority group cannot be vaccinated in the relevant week and the list of persons in the priority group below also cannot be vaccinated and therefore not all available doses of COVID-19 vaccine will be used.
We would like also to inform that hat these two lists are different: the first is only for employees defined under priority 1.20, and the second is for all employees, who wish to be vaccinated, in the company.
The lists of employees of companies, when it is their turn to get vaccinated, will be uploaded into the vaccine registration system, and then the employees themselves will have to register separately for the vaccine, choose the desired time and place of the vaccine.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Leinonen Tax team and we would be happy to provide you with more information about the mentioned changes which may be relevant to Your business.
