Certain conditions have to be met:

  • Company's internal rules clearly indicate that it is forbidden to use work equipment for personal use and the employer's right to monitor and verify is established. 
  • Monitoring is only possible if this is necessary, legitimate and proportionate.
  • The employee must be properly introduced with rules related.
  • Employee is informed about such monitoring in advance.
