The law has been in force since 2014, and the authorities are now checking the fulfillment of these regulations by companies. The law rules that all work places of an employer need to be assessed, regardless of the type of work.
From January 1, 2015 the classification of the work places, made as a result of the assessment, affects the amount of taxes paid to the Pension Fund. Providing reports to the Social Insurance Fund can also prove to be impossible in case the company has not completed the obligatory assessment.
Non-completion of the assessment is punishable as an administrative offence, and the activities of the company can be shut down for a period of 90 days.
