Minimum wage increase postponed

Earlier we reported that the Ukrainian parliament planned to issue new increases to the minimum wage in 2021 as follows: up to 6 000 UAH from 1.1.2021 and up to 6 500 UAH from 1.7.2021.

Our readers also may remember that the minimum wage was increased to 5 000 UAH back in September this year.

Recently the Ukrainian Finance ministry announced that after the 1.1.2021 increase, the next one in July will be postponed until 1.12.2021. The cited reason for the postponing was to limit the increase in inflation due to the wage increases.
