Public and office holiday calendar for Ukraine in 2022

Let’s list the public holidays for 2022 first:

 

·       01 January 2022 New Year;

·       07 January 2022 Nativity of Christ;

·       08 March 2022 International Women’s Day;

·       April 24, 2022 Easter;

·       01 May 2022 Labor Day;

·       May 09, 2022 Victory Day;

·       June 12, 2022 Trinity;

·       June 28, 2022 Constitution Day of Ukraine;

·       24 August 2022 Independence Day of Ukraine;

·       October 14, 2022 Defender of Ukraine Day;

·       December 25, 2022 Nativity of Christ.

 

When public holidays – 2022 are postponed due to coincidence with a public holiday:

 

·       January 1, Saturday, New Year is carried over to Monday January 3;

·       April 24, Sunday, Easter carried over to Monday April 25;

·       May 1, Sunday is carried over to Monday May 2;

·       12 June, Sunday, Trinity carried over to Monday 13 June;

·       Sunday 25 December, Christmas is carried over to Monday 26 December.

 

Taking into account the above transfers, in 2022 the following “extended weekends” apply in Ukraine:

 

·       from 01 to 03 January 2022 New Year (3 in total);

·       from 07 to 09 January 2022 Christmas (3 in total);

·       from 5 to 8 March 8 March (4 in total);

·       from 23 to 25 April Easter (3 in total);

·       from April 30 to May 02 May Day (3 in total);

·       from 07 to 09 May Victory Day (3 in total);

·       from 11 to 13 June Trinity (3 in total);

·       from 25 to 28 June Constitution Day (4 in total);

·       from 14 to 16 October Day of the Defender of Ukraine (3 in total);

·       from 24 to 26 December Christmas (3 in total).
