Ukraine digitalizes further: electronic waybills introduced

The development of the electronic waybill system (e-TTN) has been completed.

The first three provider companies (EDIN, PTAH and AgriChain) have been tested for interaction with the e-TTN Electronic Document Management System. Thanks to it, registration, accounting and exchange of goods and transport invoices are carried out in electronic form between the participants of road freight transport.

In particular, two companies (EDIN and PTAH) have already successfully completed interoperability testing, one more company (AgriChain) received recommendations for finalizing its software.
In total, 19 providers of electronic document management joined the e-TTN System project, including the above-mentioned companies.

The current stage of the project is the implementation and testing of the e-TTN System with business. It has started already in January 2023. The purpose of the stage is to improve the quality and transparency of the transportation process, to significantly simplify and speed up the interaction between the consignor, carrier and consignee, to eliminate corruption risks and to improve business conditions. Next, e-TTN will officially come into use starting 1st of August 2023.

In order to prepare for the use of e-TTN, it is enough for a business to conclude a contract with one of the providers involved in the project. The list of providers can be found on the website.

We will remind you that the introduction of e-TTN is part of the Ministry of Reconstruction’s strategy for digitization of the road transport sector. All operations will be available to participants in real time.
The implementation of the e-TTN System is carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the USAID / UK aid project TAPAS Project/Transparency and accountability in public administration and services and with the participation of the NGO Institute of Analytics and Advocacy, which for the period implementation of the project is the administrator of the e-TTN system.
