Main Responsibilities

• Supervision and control of payroll calculations across the entire client portfolio.
• Full payroll processing: salaries, vacations, business trips, other benefits, as well as summarized working time accounting.
• Analysis and improvement of payroll processes by proposing more efficient solutions and contributing to system modernization.
• Preparation and submission of reports, tax returns, and statistical documents to clients, management, and government institutions.
• Close cooperation between clients and institutions, ensuring prompt resolution of operational issues.
• Providing consultations to clients and colleagues on payroll and labor law–related matters.

Key Requirements

• Higher university or non-university education in economics, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3–4 years of experience in payroll accounting, including the application of summarized working time accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Experience working with Rivilė or other payroll accounting systems.
• Good command of English (from B2 level); additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of tax legislation.
• Advise Leinonen clients on tax matters, primarily related to VAT, CIT, and PIT.
• Prepare tax returns and perform tax calculations on behalf of clients.
• Carry out tax reviews in collaboration with other team members.
• Participate in Pan-Baltic tax projects.
• Assist in developing tax strategies for clients.
• Communicate with tax authorities and other relevant institutions.
• Provide tax-related guidance to colleagues in the accounting department.

Key Requirements

• Higher education, preferably in law, economics, or finance.
• Several years of experience in client service and practical application of tax legislation (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of VAT, CIT, and PIT regulations.
• Solid planning, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, as client communication is conducted in English.

• Latvian language proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level are mandatory; additional languages are an advantage;

• Good knowledge of Latvian accounting principles and tax legislation (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.);
• Experience with Directo/Edrana/SAP/Tilde/Navision would be highly valued;

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• English language skills at least at B2 level and Latvian language at C1 level (mandatory). Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior KYC Specialist to join our Riga office. You will conduct customer due diligence across Group entities, manage end-to-end KYC onboarding, and support AML platform operations.

Responsibilities

• Customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for new and existing clients across Group entities
• End-to-end KYC onboarding — document collection, verification, and risk classification
• Day-to-day operation and maintenance of the AML platform
• Ongoing monitoring and periodic review of existing client files in line with Group AML policy
• Identification and escalation of higher-risk cases and potentially suspicious activity

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field; final-year students are welcome to apply
• 0–2 years of experience in KYC, AML, or compliance; relevant internship experience is considered
• Familiarity with AML/CTF concepts and customer due diligence principles is a bonus
• At least B2 level of English; Latvian and/or other Baltic languages strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Advisor to join our Riga office. You will provide day-to-day legal and compliance advisory for internal stakeholders across Group entities, handling complex cases and driving data protection compliance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day legal and compliance advisory for internal stakeholders across Group entities
• First-response handling of complex cases routed by the Director — data breaches, contract disputes, difficult client situations, AML escalations
• Data protection compliance activities including DPIAs, data subject rights handling, vendor DPA reviews, and breach assessment
• Supporting EU legislative monitoring and preparing impact assessments when new obligations arise

Requirements

• Degree in Law or equivalent
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or regulatory advisory role — in-house or consulting
• Strong working knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection practice
• Familiarity with key EU regulatory frameworks (AI Act, NIS2, AMLD, DORA)
• At least C1 level of English (both written and spoken); additional Baltic or Nordic language is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently on sensitive matters
• Great communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders
