1. The Swedish government proposed to change the labor legislation regarding short term employments. According to the EU commission short term employment periods are too long and too many and gives possibilities for misuse.

2. Abolition of sick insurance period
The Swedish parliament adopted a law which abolished the time limitation of the sick insurance. Before – after a period of two and half year – a sick person was forced to contact the employment office for financial aid.
