In 2022, the minimum wage rose again.
Official minimum wages play an important role in Hungary. Although relatively few workers actually receive this wage, many other benefits are tied to the amount of the current minimum wage.
You must pay at least HUF 200,000 gross per month for any full-time work. However, if the job requires any qualifications or qualifications, the guaranteed minimum wage must be paid, which is HUF 260,000 gross from January 2022. This amount also applies to company-owner executives, for example.
